Pro Bono Work
During the course of over 20 years practicing law, Pro Bono work has been very important to Attorney Fischer.
I assisted a former-passenger of TRANSAT A.T., INC. in recovery of fares paid for cancelled-trip, due to COVID-19 PANDEMIC, pursuant to Canadian ‘Large Employer Emergency Financing Facility.’ Pro Bono Counsel to FLYERSRIGHTS.ORG, I served as a trusted advisor to the nonprofit in regards to airline passenger rights and advocacy. I have been instrumental to advocate before government agencies and the courts to protect and advance the interests of airline passengers on TSA procedure reform, airline fees, and drones in the U.S. air space.
As a Volunteer to Consumer Law Unit of Legal Aid Society, I assisted indigent debtors with analysis of their financial situations and draft/execute Chapter 7 and 13 petitions.
During the horrific events of September 11th, I assisted Lower Manhattan Economic Development, in representing companies and stores, in litigation and real estate disputes, attributable to business reversals of 9/11.
